§ 72.35. HANDICAPPED PARKING.

  • (A) No person shall park a motor vehicle which does not have a valid handicapped persons or disabled veteran’s placard or license plate in a parking space reserved by sign and/or pavement paint for a handicapped person’s vehicle.
    (B) No person shall knowingly park in a reserved handicapped parking space while displaying a placard or plate to which neither the person nor the person’s passenger is entitled.
    (C) No person shall display for use in a reserved handicapped parking space a placard or special license plate that was not issued pursuant to the laws of Indiana or the laws of another state.
    (D) No person shall park in a handicapped parking space a vehicle that displays a placard or special license plate entitling a person to park in a reserved handicapped parking space unless that person is, at that time handicapped, or in the process of transporting a handicapped person.
