§ 114.01. PURPOSE.

This chapter is enacted for the purpose of regulating all transient or itinerant merchants, commercial solicitors, peddlers and hawkers by requiring licenses to engage in the activities in order to prevent fraud, crime, undue annoyance and harassment and to protect the privacy, safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the city.
