§ 130.07. FIRES PROHIBITED ON ASPHALT STREETS; SMOKE EMISSION PROHIBITED.

  • (A) For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
    GARBAGE. Includes any dry or drained kitchen and table refuse, fruit, vegetable and animal waste, or anything whatsoever that will or may decompose and become offensive or dangerous to health.

    (B) No person shall kindle or cause to be kindled any fire for the purpose of burning any leaves, shavings or other combustible matter on any street in the city which is paved with asphalt or other material susceptible to burning or otherwise affected by fire.

    (C) The emission of dense, black or gray smoke, suspended solids, noxious odors, and/or the burning of garbage or rubber goods in a fire outside a building shall be deemed and is a public nuisance and is unlawful.
