§ 130.10. OBSTRUCTING TREES AND VEGETATION PROHIBITED.

  • (A) No person shall plant any shrubs, bushes, trees or other forms of vegetation at any intersection of any roads or highways within the city which, in the opinion of the Board of Public Works and Safety, obstructs the vision of motorists or pedestrians approaching the intersection. The Board of Public Works and Safety shall have the authority to determine where violations exist and shall have the right to have the obstruction removed in the event the property owner or occupant, after reasonable notice, refuses to remove the obstruction.
    (B) In the event the city removes any obstruction as determined by the Board of Public Works and Safety, the cost thereof shall be taxed against the offending property owner and placed upon the tax records for collection.
