§ 155.09. ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT; DURATION.

  • (A) The Building Commissioner shall issue a building permit to a person after the person has submitted a complete application, including any applicable fee, provided that the proposed construction will conform to all applicable building laws and will not violate any other applicable ordinances or laws.
    (B) If the work or activity for which a building permit has been issued pursuant to this section has not been commenced within 90 days from the date of its issuance, the permit shall no longer be of any force or effect. Should any person or persons desire to continue the activity on a job site, a new application with accompanying fees must be made and paid prior to any beginning of construction.
