§ 50.05. TAMPERING WITH PIPES OR MAINS PROHIBITED.

No person shall, without the written permission and authority of the General Manager of Water Works, tap any main or pipe forming any part of the Water Works owned by the city, do any work in connection with the introduction of water into any premises, or alter, extend, change or modify any water pipe or fixture already installed in any premises, or make or cut off connections in any way whatever with or from the mains or service pipes of the Department of Water Works.
