§ 72.32. METER COIN COLLECTORS.

The Mayor shall designate some member or members of the Police Department to collect the coins deposited in parking meters. From parking meters equipped with sealed coin chambers or compartments, the collector shall remove the chamber and deliver it with seal unbroken to the Clerk-Treasurer. From parking meters not equipped with sealed coin chambers or compartments, the collector shall remove the coins from the coin box of each meter so as to permit the coins to fall unobstructed into the cart, and deliver the same to the Clerk-Treasurer. The Clerk-Treasurer shall count the coins so delivered and deposit the same to the credit of the city.
